I happen to consider myself one of those Christians that doesn't "share" my faith, which is not to say if someone asked me I wouldn't explain my faith.
It's amazing how people can know you're a Christian without even asking. That means you're witnessing through your lifestyle. I truly believe 5 things in regards to witnessing that may be "weak" for those in "shock".
1) You witness through the life you lead
2) Not everyone is cut out to evangelize (go door to door) but everyone is cut out to profess
3) We are waterers, not saviors. Jesus is a double-edged sword and like handling any sharp object we need to be careful with it.
4) God will prepare the time for you to bear witness. It is our job to be ready. ex. God places Phillip in front of eunuch and the eunuch asks him about the bible. Acts 8
5) God always sets aside a remnant. You're going to be spending most of your time dusting your feet off. Matthew10:14
Now since most of the people posting are Christians, I'm going to feel free to say something EVIL - since I'm a sinner in the process of sanctification. I once heard a pastor say that, "...if there was good news wouldn't you run out and tell everyone." Actually, no I wouldn't, but that's me. I'm a private person who doesn't want everyone to know my business. (1 Cor 7:17-20) Guess what, we're running a race and narrow is the gate - few will enter! The less the number of contestants the more likely I am to win!
-- Trust me I know that man's rules do not apply in this game. SO before you get uppity remember to win this game you have to be THE BIGGEST LOSER.
