Boris refuses to accept the FACT that Christianity has led to all of the greatest cultural advances in terms of peace, love, fairness and acceptance. He'll bring up the Crusades, the Salem Witch Trials, Hitler was a Christian, Slavery, the brutality of the Old Testament, etc. etc. etc. as his "proof" that Christianity, while being an absolute farce and the greatest hoax of all time, has been a nightmare as far as it's influence on the world. His arguments are canned, his attitude arrogant and condescending, his mind darkened and his heart hardened. Despite the fact that he has outwitted virtually every reputable Historian of the past 400+ years with his discovery that Jesus never lived and therefore every Christian (not to mention all those famous historians) is just a pathetic dope, you won't find Boris (since he won't tell us his real name) on the cover of any magazine, hosting any radio show or lecturing at any major university. How could such brilliance go unnoticed? Who cares? We are all just advanced animals living meaningless lives with no freewill and no ultimate purpose for living. Perhaps that worldview is why Boris tends to come across the way that he does...or could it be something more profound? Darker? Perhaps more disturbing? I'm concerned that Boris is angry for some pretty good reasons, but refuses to go to the only source that can ease his pain and give him peace. I guess that's why I still pray for him from time to time. I hope he's not like Pharaoh by this point in his life, but all indications are that he is. How sad. If you are a believer, please join me in praying for Boris' salvation.
