Government is made up of people and because people are not perfect, government will never be perfect. In this country the government is elected by the people. As the people become more ungodly so then will the government. I believe this last election proved that a lot people vote with their bank accounts and not with their BIBLE. A lot of people were having problems financially and therefore they wanted somebody who they thought could help them out. If the economy was in good shape then chances are the republicans would have won the election. Just like in the garden of eden where Adam and Eve was tempted with the forbidden fruit, the people in this country were tempted with the promise of a better economy. Adam and Eve disobeyed GOD and paid a price. Eventually the same will happen to this country. A lot of people SOLD their vote for a chance at a better FINANCIAL future. They were looking for someone to save them and instead of crying out to GOD, they cried out to government to save them. The majority in this country basically said through their vote that as long as you help us financially that we don't care what happens to everybody else. We don't care what happens to the moral fabric of this country as long as "I" get mine. Give "me" a great stock tip so I can make a lot of money and "I" don't care how many unborn babies are killed. Give "me" a great job and I don't care how the government defines marriage.
The majority of the people in this country proved where their priorities lie. Not with God and doing what is morally right but with the almighty dollar. The Bible asks one simple question that all americans should be asking themselves. What does a man gain if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
