if jesus was on earth i think he may surprise us all where he would go. he was always surrounding himself with sinners (gamblers, prostitutes, etc) and people that were the rejected. i think it would be no great leap of faith to think he would be near the strippers, gamblers, alcoholics, drug addicts, prostitutes of today and where they associate themselves.
now should we immerse ourselves in that society? by no means. i do agree with you that we should not "delight in filth," but i think we can be around it and not "delight in it." we are the light of the world & light shines in darkness.
