Apathy! That's what has gotten our country into the mess it is in. Many in the church believe it is someone else's job or calling to know the bible. They don't want to take the time from their busy lives, especially take the time from their play time to learn the bible, and apply its precepts to their lives. Until Christians get serious about losing their freedoms, or, until they begin to be personally persecuted for their faith, this will probably not change. The secular new media only touches on persecution of Christians as a sideline, and moves on to another subject rather quickly, so many believers don't think that it is rampant in America. But, when it hits home, they will really have to get serious about whether they truly believe it or not. Jesus said that those who persevere until the end will be saved. Maybe that's how you can tell if they have really been born again.

A lot of churches are preaching a man centerd messege, And if the preacher teaches the truth a meeting is held and he is out of there. Also people own a bible and never open it, Just sitting collecting dust.
