Don't join the military...start a militia?

Posted on Wednesday, Feb 25th, 2009 at 8:09am by SteveNoble

"For the Record" on WorldNetDaily!

In this new WorldNetDaily video commentary from my buddy "Molotov"...he urges his fellow citizens to avoid joining the military!  Does he make a point, or is he just nuts?

Watch the short video commentary at the link above and then LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

Don't paint with such a broad brush...

I have watched a few of these videos that you have posted from Molotov. For the most part I guess they aren't bad. I like a guy who speaks his mind. As a pastor whose church body is 99% Air Force, I'd agree with the idea that the majority of the military did not vote for Obama, especially among officers. However, I think the conclusion that ... Read Morehe comes to about militias versus joining the military kinda smacks against those men and women who are currently serving. There are also young men and women who will join to serve their country no matter who is in office, because it is a great opportunity to grow. While some of the decisions Obama has made which Molotov mentioned are certainly not good ones, most of the military men and women I have spoken to at length would tell you very little of their job changes no matter who is commander-in-chief. They are dedicated people who serve us. I would never join, but I won't berate those who join or currently serve.

There are two 100 per cent

There are two 100 per cent Christian militias people can join right now. They are the KKK and the American Nazi Party, both of which require ALL their members to be Bible believing young-Earth creationists just like Molotov Mitchell and Steve Noble are. In fact I'd like to see some proof that Molotov Mitchell is not a card carrying member of the American Nazi Party.

Eureka!

Our cover is blown! ATTENTION: Fellow followers of Christ! Boris the Incredible Atheist has discovered our dirty little secret...ALL KKK and Nazi's are OF COURSE bible believing Christians! I thought we could keep that under wraps a bit longer, but to no avail. Effective immediately we must take to the streets to oppress and/or murder all of those who disagree with our Theocratic notions and backward way of life. Oh...wait a minute...perhaps Boris is just confusing us with radical Muslims? Why doesn't he ever haul off on them? Since Boris believes in evolution...survival of the fittest...he won't be surprised when the radical Muslims lop off his head as a result of their religious vigor. It seems that faith trumps "intellect" when it comes to survival of the fittest. Interesting... (note: this is the same Boris that claims he doesn't hate Christians)

Not all Christians are Nazis

Not all Christians are Nazis Steve, but all Nazis are Christians. Don't twist my words and how about posting my refutations of your post on the Molotov thread Steve. Don't even talk about evolution. You couldn't pass a public school 8th grade science test. FYI the answer to every question on a science test isn't "because the Bible says so" unless it's a Christian home school test. You don't believe in ANY science Steve, not just evolution. Your cult leaders have fooled you but they don't fool educated people or your OWN CHRISTIAN academic community. Why IS that Steve?

uh huh...

All Nazi's are Christians? I love that one, Boris! I don't believe in ANY science, Boris? That's a good one as well. Your ranting and insults are growing tiresome...but it is quite helpful in backing up the TRUTH of God's Word. The Book of Romans to the rescue once again :) Thanks, Boris!

There is a total of about 30

There is a total of about 30 million people in the entire world who claim not to believe in evolution. Guess who they are. Bible believers the same people who have denied every scientific discovery and theory ever since there was a Bible. Imagine that. And guess where they all live. Right here in the trailer parks of the Southern and Midwestern United States.

Boris...back to math, buddy!

30 million creationist people in the ENTIRE world , Boris? Whoa...where do you get your kool-aid, pal? FROM A PEW CENTER SURVEY: Approximately 40%-50% of the public accepts a biblical creationist account of the origins of life, while comparable numbers accept the idea that humans evolved over time. The wording of survey questions generally makes little systematic difference in this division of opinion. Hmmm...40% - 50% of the US public? Let's do the math, shall we class? 304,000,000 people in the USA times .40 (to stay on the low side) = 121,600,000 stinking, stupid creationists! Ok Ok, Boris...let's take out the children (20% of the total population is under 14)! That still leaves 97,280,000. A BIT more than Boris' 30 million creationists worldwide. Want the WORLDWIDE estimate on the number of stupid creationists? WHO CARES? Boris is spreading propaganda and lies and that was the only point I wanted to make in this post.

Don't paint with such a broad brush (fixed)

Part of my comment got cut off when Steve copy/pasted. I thought I'd re-post. I have watched a few of these videos that you have posted from Molotov. For the most part I guess they aren't bad. I like a guy who speaks his mind. As a pastor whose church body is 99% Air Force, I'd agree with the idea that the majority of the military did not vote for Obama, especially among officers. Steve said: Since Boris

Steve said: Since Boris believes in evolution...survival of the fittest...he won't be surprised when the radical Muslims lop off his head as a result of their religious vigor. Boris says: I feel I must respond to this irresponsible comment. Just because someone understands how survival of the fittest is part of nature doesn't mean they "believe" in it or have some kind of religious reverence for it. I "believe" as science has shown that humans can understand and then use and control nature for our own benefit. We humanists believe in the survival of EVERYONE, not just the fittest, and we can largely counteract nature's "survival of the fittest" doctrine if you will, through science. Since we have discovered how nature structures itself through evolution by natural selection we have been able to REVERSE evolution and it's natural selection - survival of the fittest only mode. New medical discoveries directly linked to our knowledge of evolution have allowed people who are unfit to live long enough to pass their bad genes on to their progeny. Diabetes and other such maladies which can be hereditary killed people off before they could have children and pass on these diseases hundreds and thousands and yes, 3.2 millions of years ago. But now, thanks to science, these people can have children even though there is a good chance their children will inherit bad genes. A good example of this that is unrelated to evolution would be poor vision. Ten thousand years ago a person with poor vision likely would have not survived to have children. But in the last few centuries glasses have been in use and people can pass their bad vision genes on to their children. And this is a GOOD thing because it forced science to once again come up with a solution to this problem: laser surgery. Once again we find a way, through science, to defeat nature and her survival of the fittest doctrine. So, no Steve, I DO NOT 'believe" in survival of the fittest anymore than you do. But unlike you I trust science to come up with the answers to our problems. Can't we all just get along? Please post this response to you post Steve.

Torture

This Molotov guy leaves out the fact that it was a forced confession obtained by torture. Perhaps Jesus can tolerate torture without giving into the demands of the torturer, but the greater, imperfect majority is not. Furthermore, modern torture techniques are honestly more extreme.

If someone were waterboarding you, making you go without sleep for three days, using psychological techniques to confuse you about your senses, subjecting you to sexual abuse, etc. You might just give in to their demands of reading off a confession.

If you are confused as to what I am talking about then simply watch the documentary "Taxi to the Darkside." It's a documentary narrated by some of our country's finest military patriots about the torture techniques they were ordered to use on innocent civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Also, in the spirit of St. Patrick's day, I will also cite the film "In the Name of the Father," a film about the Irish family falsely accused of being involved with IRA bombings. The family was held behind bars based on forced confessions which were documented. Tony Blair recently apologized last year in the UK's first public recognition of error. The family was put behind bars through the UK's equivalent of the Patriot Act...
